CA U.K. Maiya is the joint Managing Partner and in charge of the Udupi branch. He completed his articles in Rao & Swami, qualified in 1965 and set up Rao & Swami, Udupi as a separate firm. In the year 1999, the Udupi practice was merged with Rao & Swami, Bengaluru. He has wide experience in audit, in particular audit of NBFCs, branches of insurance companies both life and general, small and medium business, taxation, company law and commercial tax matters and represents before both Income Tax and Commercial Tax Authorities.
